If Zak leaves I for one believe that the failure to convince him to stay is the most damning of all the failures this window (and before). Our most versatile and important player, the most suited CB in our team to Struber's philosophy and home grown. Losing Anis is bad, but understandable. Should be the easiest sell ever to get him to stay.

@jack_buchanan_ Really? Against a team with little space in behind you need technical players. Much as I am chairman of the Sam Bell fan club, he's not the player we needed on as a 10. I would have taken off a CB and played played Sam and Yu wide though.

I find it incredibly odd that Yu was the man to come on today ahead of Bell, who’s looked bright since returning. Very strange decision from Struber imo.

@RobinNestBCFC Our squad is going to be worse next season. The main question is how worse.

I’ve thought about tweeting this for a while, worried it sounds too negative… but it is reality I worry this season is promotion or bust - tbh, I just hope it makes people get behind this team even more The next 6 games are beyond huge when you think long term as it sets the stall for what we do in Jan Mehmeti, Sykes and Vyner all out of contract in the summer - they may he sold if we’re out of it, but if not they are more valuable to us than any fee Mehmeti and Vyner could probably get 30k+ a week and a 7 figure signing bonus as a free agent imo - I don’t believe we can compete with this Mehmeti defo goes abroad to a team playing in European competition Combined value of all three could be 15m - all potentially gone for free 1.5 years left on McCrorie and Knight deals (+probably others) - we have a poor record of renewals so wanted to mention …what is frustrating is that we haven’t exactly “gambled” we’ve not chucked a shit ton of cash at this, just been terrible at keeping our players Anyway - rant over, Millwall on Saturday COYR!
