@drewlevin GameID 5598418685 -- Graves YasuoOrAFK#0711 gets his scuttle crab taken by our Caitlyn and sabatoges the game and makes us all waste 40 minutes. The game was 100% won if he played but he AFK farmed and sat in fountain. He admits to it in chat. reported to no avail.

@Allorim 2/ is by far the weakest pacing wise but once you hit the citadel it feels like a whole new game. Same with Act 3. The combat feels amazing and the bosses are mostly good IMO. My main critique of the game is that the fetch quests are dumb and some of the requirements 100% stink.

@Allorim NOOO my goat so far your takes have been good but I cannot disagree more. I've got like 180 hours in and I'm going for 100% Steel soul speedrun achievement right now and even that grind is fun to me because the game feels so good to play and so well-crafted. I think late act 1 i

I know I'm late to the Silksong reviews but... This game sucks for the most part. It's a well made game and a lot of love went into it. But there is so much bloat and running around, the pacing is miserable. It's bottom half in the genre imo

Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
