UNDERSTANDING @Sativa255's PAIN. Sight on his trauma, justice, and the weight of survival.
While I don't necessarily condone the anguished and sometimes harsh language Sativa uses in his posts, I completely understand the depth of pain and betrayal that fuels his words. His choice of expression reflects the unfiltered emotions of someone who has faced unimaginable trauma and injustice ambayo wengi wetu hatujaiishi. MY PERSPECTIVES;
Responding to trauma and survival:
Tukubaliane kuwa Sativa experienced a life-threatening event where state authorities, who are supposed to ensure his/our safety, "allegedly" became perpetrators of violence. The trauma he endured iko compounded by feelings of betrayal, making it even harder to process. His direct confrontation of the 🚨 hapa X is his only way of asserting control over a situation that once rendered him powerless. It is also an attempt to demand accountability, which can be therapeutic for someone recovering from such an ordeal.
Accountability heals:
Aactions za Sativa zina highlight the absence of justice and accountability in his case and similar cases (Kibao,Soka, and many others). Public institutions are responsible for ensuring safety, and when they fail or are implicated, justice must be seen to be done. The lack of investigation or acknowledgment of his ordeal from the 🚨 only reinforces his anger, making it difficult to trust the system again. Haki huponya, vivyo hivyo UWAJIBIKAJI HUPONYA.
Expression of civic duty:

When victims like him speak out about systemic issues, they're fulfilling a societal role of holding institutions accountable. Our silence would only normalize such injustices.
