So I didn’t expect to be posting something like this but it has gotten serious a lot faster than we thought. My wife has been dealing with this for years without even the closest people to her knowing this was going on. Her teeth over the course of the past years have continued to deteriorate, break off and some have completely fallen out. This has nothing to due with her hygiene or how she takes care of her teeth. This all started with her catching gestational diabetes with our first daughter and it never going away. This included a severe calcium deficiency which in turn has taken a terrible toll on her teeth. We have spent thousands over the years to fix this and take care of that but the time has finally come that it has to be taken care of all at once and correctly. After research and multiple consultations we have narrowed down to who we plan to go with. The total cost will be around 45,000. We have been approved for the credit side with a 5,000 down payment. The issues are this would leave us will a 1,000 monthly bill and we would end up paying 75,000 for a 45,000 bill. Regardless we have to get this done bc the infection isn’t going away but are trying to make it feasible as far as monthly payment and how much interest we pay overall. The homeschooling community my wife is a part of has been absolutely amazing and has raised around 5,000 without the Gofundme fundraiser. Someone from the same community is who decided to start the fundraiser without us knowing. I wanted to be prideful and figure it out on my own but at this point it’s already out of my hands. The way she is hurting and having to deal with issues most don’t has made me push the pride to the side. So we figure it’s easier to possibly get a couple thousand people to donate a few bucks then get a few people to donate thousands of dollars.
