This week is Mental Illness Awareness Week! Since it's also Hispanic Heritage Month, today's focus is on mental health in the Hispanic and Latino communities.

It's Mental Illness Awareness Week, and we want to remind you that your mind deserves the same care as your body. 🧠

The first week in October is Mental Illness Awareness Week (#MIAW), a national effort where we raise awareness, fight discrimination, and provide support. This year's theme is “Together We Care. Together We Share,” which conveys the power of coming together in community.

NAMI Mass is looking for individuals interested in being trained to be Family Support Group Facilitators. NAMI FSG is a free, peer-led, confidential support group for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of individuals living with a mental health condition.
