Greetings! We've entering 3 catalyst proposals for Koios tools, look forward to your feedback as well as support with these. Quick overview below:

@WenKStakePool @benohanlon @cardano_gourmet MinFixedFee is now the majority of the first produced block, we certainly don't want any new SPOs taking delegation from anyone established! This is a nice way to ensure we don't have any new SPOs. Big brain thinking.

@benohanlon @cardano_gourmet Same as they've been for the last few years.. increase k, reduce minfixedFee 🤷‍♂️ What happened after the survey that showed most SPOs supported these?

I think it's poetic that WEN_K is one of the best performing Cardano stake pools when it comes to reliably producing assigned blocks. If only the k parameter was increased and it could get more stake, it might offer one the best returns. #CardanoADA #CardanoCommunity

Others are finally starting to ask for accountability, KPIs and more from those who exist only to further the ecosystem. @Cardano_CF does not provide any metrics to measure them by on purpose, they have done nothing for us #CardanoCommunity #cardano $ADA forum.cardano.org/t/cardano-foun…

@WelfBrandolf @monad_alexander I've never complained, that I can recall, about comparing SPOs with big bags I think you must be mixing me up with someone else.

@NASECstakepool @monad_alexander You’ve struggled yourself and have stated multiple times how unfair the system is comparing SPOs with big bags and almost fully saturated pools to SPOs who contribute to decentralization, doing good work, but still lacking a certain stake height to produce a block per epoch

@monad_alexander IOG and their whims. I truly believe the Cardano Foundation are a bunch of stooges incapable of anything. No KPIs, no tangible results, no effort. Love it when they point at the CIP process as something they run, that's a joke too.

What process governs the network parameters of Cardano? Examples of changes in the past: 1. The descent of D 2. increasing K to 500 3. multiple block size/mem limit increases post Goguen Are there formal steps in this process? What criteria is considered? Who evaluates?

@WelfBrandolf @monad_alexander MinFixedFee doesn't exist in any of the papers for the design of Cardano. Variable fees are much better as the pool operator earns more based on their success, proportionate to their block production.

@NASECstakepool @monad_alexander Would you please be so kind and elaborate on your statement about minPoolFee? Does this mean, that you don’t want this kind of fee and if yes wouldn’t it kill the incentive on running a Stake Pool in the first place? In my opinion, we should get rid of variable fees.

Right now I think the most realistic value blockchain tech can bring is #DAOs it just makes sense as an entity but needs some helpful regulation. The UK government weren't interested when I reached out the same day they announced they wanted to be a "crypto hub". Politicians...

@thomas_0145 @OracleAltcoin My thoughts are we should self host :-) go to your local small DC and get some colo space. Either that or look to smaller hosting companies though they are all heavily utilised. OVH might be a suggestion it's been a while since I checked the breakdown.

I would like to start a Cardano SPO, the first idea was on EC2 (AWS) but most of the SPOs are on Amazon: this is actually very "centralized" from a hosting point of view. Any opinions? What's a cheap alternative to AWS?

@hoskytoken @CardanoStiftung @IOHK_Charles @InputOutputHK @JeremyFirsterCF Comical post, as I've said before @CardanoStiftung has not provided KPIs or any way for us to judge their complete lack of accomplishments. So I'll say it again in this year's review, the CF is a failed entity not furthering the ecosystem.

Seriously @CardanoStiftung? Is your mission to go against what #Cardano is about? You are literally encouraging/celebrating that users can stake with a centralized entity. This is a slap in the face to all of your stake pools. @IOHK_Charles @InputOutputHK @JeremyFirsterCF

@benohanlon Go back through all the issues in your git repo and ack them in some way shape or form. IOG are ignoring year+ old reports.

I've been thinking. I accept communication with SPOs hasn't been good enough. It's my job to support the SPO community so this is my fault. Reply to this tweet with actionable steps you recommend. I commit to discussing how we improve communication moving forward.
