Pro Bowl center just retired in his prime, majority of the Bears secondary just took a bunch of cheap 1yr deals to get away from Chicago, didn’t sign ANYONE of significance in free agency this year…
And got the nerve to tweet some stupid shit like this…..
How dumb can you be?
MonstaOfDaTriState@scar179nyc
I don’t see free agents lining up to play with Jordan Love 🤭
English

@MikeFnHoncho Bryant is not an upgrade over Byard…. If you think that you’re a idiot homer
English

@Peter_Bukowski Three straight years as the number 7 seed.
12 teams had a better record than you last year.
You lost like 5-6 starters and didn't really add anyone crazy in FA.
TF are you complaining about? GB fans are in for a rude awaking once the season starts. Pure delusion.
English

@NBAMocks @worldbfreer @JeffNadu It was implied/obvious. Youre just too big of a retard to understand that
English

@manof_sports @MattCouture5 Then they added two teams, so more charger flight expenses.. about 2M a team. Not to mention other increases in cost of doing business. Maybe they break even this years but the cap will keep going up, but the TV deal is stagnant.
English

@manof_sports @MattCouture5 Yes.. there was a deal before that too.. It’s an increase, but it’s not 200m a year. More like $150M increase. They lost $50M, so if nothing changes they would have a $100M profit this year.
They just gave the players a ~90M a year raise.
English

So a business that’s already losing money has agreed to increase their spending by 4-5x?
Sounds like that business will be out of business soon
Ball Don’t Lie@Balldontlie
The WNBA league minimum jumped up by about $234K 😳 📈
English

@manof_sports @MattCouture5 Why don’t you tell me about it? How much of an increase is it? Tell me how much they increased players salaries and how much charter flights are costing each year? Do some research and come back when you have some ideas of wtf you’re talking about other than “‘massive deal”
English

@NBAMocks @MattCouture5 So they didn’t sign a massive media rights deal? I’m confused. Tell me about it
English

@manof_sports @MattCouture5 You have no idea what you’re talking about.
English

@NBAMocks @MattCouture5 Read and then comment. They just signed a missive deal last year. They are positive this year.
English

@SwiftyNetwork @LukeOGrady This two contracts do carry some dead cap, however it’s something like $28.5M in cap relief once they are waived next year.
English

Zero dead cap hits (other than DJ Moore now)
Zero Void Years
Zero backloaded deals
Zero players making over $25 million a year
The two contracts everyone complains about (Dayo O and Grady Jarrett) can both be released next year with no dead cap.
The Bears are in as good of a position and have as much flexibility with the cap as ANY team in the NFL.
English

Dead last for the #Bears
Cannot be understated just how poorly Ryan Poles has built this defense. One of the worst in the league, and one of the most expensive.
Bears have their promising QB on his rookie contract and aren’t even really able to take advantage of it
Sigh
Albert Breer@AlbertBreer
A week into the league year, NFL accounting on the 10 teams tightest to the cap ... 1) Bears $213K 2) Panthers $4.57M 3) Giants $5.41M 4) Jaguars $5.90M 5) Vikings $6.10M 6) Dolphins $7.06M 7) Bills $9.77M 8) Cowboys $13.12M 9) Saints $13.12M 10) Chiefs $13.34M
English

@manof_sports @MattCouture5 They lost $50M last year. Ppl just say shit and have no idea.
English

@MattCouture5 Massive new TV deal. They are back to in the positive
English

@jmGreekwedding @MattCouture5 I don’t think you understand how that works
English

@MattCouture5 They just signed a 2.2 billion tv deal. Don’t be a clown
English

@Jayrockradio @worldbfreer @JeffNadu Then he should have said that.
You might want to consider shutting the fuck up too. The NFL comp is bc that IS the biggest deal ever.
English

@NBAMocks @worldbfreer @JeffNadu comparing the WNBA tv deal to the NFL tv deal is beyond fucking stupid. And its obvious he meant ever as in ever in WNBA history. Not ever like ever in sports history you fucking tard.
English

@worldbfreer @JeffNadu The most lucrative TV contract ever? Maybe the best they have ever done, but its 11 year/2.2B
The NFL is 11 year/110B... so no its not the most lucrative tv contract ever.
English

@JeffNadu “Why”? 🤦♂️
How about because the WNBA signed the most lucrative TV contract ever?
How about the league is expanding by a half-dozen teams?
There’s a ton of revenue out there. The people that create that revenue (players) deserve the lion’s share.
Thats why.
English

@HGrahamNFL This is a bad idea. Love your content but this might be th worst idea you have pushed in a few years of watching you. RB is far from the top of our list in terms or need or where we should spend money.
English

@IKE_Packers Absolutely hilarious that this is a controversial statement in GB.
