As the wildfire season draws to a close tomorrow, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the courageous women and men who have protected our homes, communities, and lives this summer. Whether they were in the air, on the front lines, or at the operation centres, they worked long days and many endured daily temperatures that reached the high 30s, under dangerous drought conditions. We thank you and greatly appreciate the time you spent away from your communities and families to protect ours. 🫶
