NEW EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT LOCATION The Nepean Hospital Emergency Department (ED) has moved to a new location on Somerset Street, Kingswood. Use Gate 7 on Somerset Street to enter the ED. This entrance provides public pedestrian and vehicle access only to the ED.

CHANGES TO COVID-19 CLINICS | Our COVID-19 testing clinics at Blue Mountains and Lithgow hospitals have now permanently closed. Most people can now use a rapid antigen test (RAT) to confirm if they are positive for COVID-19.

NSW Health is advising the community to be aware of the signs and symptoms of rare but severe, invasive bacterial infections following recent increases in cases.

To help support local community & visitors, COVID-19 testing at Blue Mountains and Lithgow hospitals will remain open over the Christmas and New Year period. Both clinics are open Mon, Wed, Fri, 9am to 12pm with the Blue Mountains clinic also open 1 to 4pm, excl. public holidays.
