We demand transparency & accountability: Congress must release all communications between the White House & DOJ regarding the SPLC indictment, disclose nonprofits flagged for investigation since 2025, & expose any coordination between this administration & financial institutions

President Trump has radicalized the Department of Justice to go after people and organizations he considers the opposition. Today’s House Judiciary Committee hearing on the @SPLCenter is the latest example of this Administration’s efforts to cut off civil society.

The indictment of @splcenter did not happen because of the facts. It comes on the heels of the dismantling of the Voting Rights Act & repeated efforts to make it harder for voters to vote, schools to teach history, health care to be affordable, & people to see immigration judge.
