Don’t forget that National Teach Ag Day is coming up! Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 23rd as the National Association of Agricultural Educators is holding a live webcast to celebrate National #TeachAg Day! Join the webcast to learn more and celebrate the initiative!

Last but definitely not least, our State Vice President at the Sentinel's station, Ms. Zelee Jackson. She is from the Crest FFA Chapter and attends NC State University majoring in Agricultural Education. She can also say all 50 states in alphabetical order in under 15 seconds!

Today we meet our State Vice President at the Reporter’s station, Mr. Bryan Diaz. He is from the Spring Creek FFA Chapter and is a Freshman at University of Mount Olive studying Agricultural Business Management. You also might be surprised to know that Bryan plays the accordion!

Our State Vice President at the Treasurer’s station is Ms. Jaiden Strickland. Jaiden is majoring in Agricultural Education at North Carolina State University. She is from the West Columbus FFA Chapter and loves animals. Currently she has 17 pets which include 6 different species!

FFA Camp is one of the Oldest FFA camps in the nation and offers new experiences to our members across North Carolina. An integral part of Camp is our Camp Center Staff and the Farm Credit Cottage. Let’s make sure there's a place for them! Donate At: crowdfunding.ncsu.edu/project/38523?…

Today we have our State Vice President at the Secretary’s station, Ms. Sydney Whichard. She is studying Agricultural Education at North Carolina State University and calls the North Lenoir FFA Chapter home. One of her favorite hobbies is going antique shopping!

Next up is your State Vice President at the Vice President’s station, Ms. Hailey Eason! Hailey is a sophomore at NC State majoring in Agricultural Education. She is part of the North East Carolina Prep FFA Chapter and she plans to travel to all 50 states by the time she turns 25!

First we have our State President Madeline Chandler. She is studying History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Madeline is from the Bear Grass FFA Chapter and was crowned the 2022 Miss Chowan County Regional Fair Queen!

As we kick off the school year, we are navigating new classes and for some students a new school. Similarly, NC FFA is still getting to know our 2023-2024 State Officer Team. So check back each day to learn a little bit about each of our 6 State Officers!

This past weekend was the state Envirothon competition! Congratulations to all who competed.

This past Saturday, FFA members from across North Carolina competed in the State FFA Horse Evaluation CDE. A special thanks to Martin Community College and the 4-H Horse Youth Programs for hosting, and to the NC Horse Council for sponsoring this event.

This past Friday was the State Dairy Evaluation and State Dairy Handlers CDE at the Carolina Classic Fairgrounds in Winston-Salem. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event successful, especially the North Carolina Dairy Youth Foundation for sponsoring this event.

This month we are honored to recognize Chris Hart from Chatham Central High School! Mr. Hart was named the 2022-2023 NCATA West Central Region Teacher of the Year. We are proud to recognize Mr. Hart for his outstanding achievement in agricultural education. Congratulations!

This past Monday, visited @BASFCorporation along with National Officers, Karstyn Cantrell and Ryan Williamson. Thank you to BASF for hosting us, and for your continued support of FFA!
