65 YEARS OF SAVING LIVES: Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey joined the Mount Airy Rescue Squad for its' 65th Anniversary Celebration and New Rescue Truck Dedication. During the event, Commissioner Causey honored three longtime members for their service.

Our Special Agent Robert "Bonzai" McLaughlin recently served as an instructor for the North Carolina Justice Academy’s Specialized Explosive and Hazardous Materials Instructor Training for Police Academy Instructors.

Commissioner Causey was honored to join “The King,” NASCAR legend Richard Petty, for a reception highlighting the incredible mission of Victory Junction. The event brought together supporters and community members to learn more about the camp and the families it serves.

Our NCDOI team was happy to be a part of the Rumba on the Lumber event in Lumberton! We always appreciate the opportunity to meet community members and share information about things like disaster preparedness, insurance fraud, and how we assist North Carolinians daily.

We were proud to support a recent MedAssist event at the Currituck County Senior Center, where our SHIIP team helped seniors in need. We provided insurance information and connection to resources while MedAssist provided free over-the-counter medications to community members.
