Sometimes a loss can be a win. We may have lost to the 1st place team but we made it close, while missing two key players. One bad pitch to a Cal commit cost me 2 runs but I’m very proud of keeping this game closer than anyone would’ve predicted, even got my 100th K and 2 hits.

Another close loss, we’ve had a few those this season. One bad pitch cost me a couple of runs and that proved to be the difference. I’d rather lose close games where I’m fighting with my teammates to the end, than win in a blow out. Next game on Saturday.

Highlights from yesterday’s game. Nice to get a win coming out of the break. I’m working on locating my curve and screw off the bat path. Tomorrow is a rematch against a team we lost a close game to, the one with 7 seniors, so I’m excited to get this W.

Highlights from our game on Friday. Tough way to go into spring break. We’re still searching for our offense so the long break came at a good time. I feel like my pitching has found some consistency. I’m controlling the zone, throwing strikes, and getting a lot of weak contact.

Highlights from the game on Wednesday. We got a much needed win and I faced a hitter leading the league in HRs and RBIs. Highlights of those at bats below. I could’ve pitched better, hung one to a hitter I should’ve got out which accounted for all the runs. A W is a W!

Highlights from a big game on Monday against our cross town rivals. They have a deep team and we kept it close to the end, just couldn’t find any runs. I induced a couple of double plays and got help from my defense. Good to know I can get outs when strikeouts aren’t there.

Highlights from last weeks’ games, we went 1-2. The heart of this team does not show up in the win column. I know everyone is trying their best. I’m the only pitcher on the team so I’m getting all the reps I want. Through 71 innings I’m at 59Ks, with 64% FPS very happy with that.

I’m feeling like I’m hitting my stride. Fourth game in a row allowing 3ER or less. I set a career high with 7 Ks, induced 2 double play balls and stole a base. Went against a pitcher committed to Lehigh University and held my own. I love to rise to the challenge. @NCLegends16u

The work never stops, everyday is an opportunity to get better. I got lots to do before high school season starts so it’s going to be a busy offseason. I also have new teammates and coaches to impress. 😊 @NCLegends16u

Saw some good results at my last lesson with coach Bill. We were working on a tighter spin, location, and an “out” pitch. It’s almost time for high school ball and I want to have a good season. @NCLegends16u

Highlights from today’s game. I got a Cal State San Marcos commit to hit into a double play, change up and screw were cooking, and hit 57mph game speed. Another game on the schedule for tomorrow before a much needed break until Friday. @NCLegends16u @NovatoHornets

Pitched my high school team to a much needed win today and added a double for good measure. A bit of a break between game did a world of good. The change up was working well. @NCLegends16u

Lost a close game to one of our rival schools with 7 seniors in the lineup. Really proud of my team for fighting and making it such a close game. I went 2-2, stole a base, and threw 61 of the 94 pitches for strikes. Change up and curve were working well today. @NCLegends16u

Another game in the books. We never stopped fighting and made a run in the end to make it close. My pitching hasn’t been the best the past couple of games but today felt really good, 79 strikes on 116 pitches, 1 BB, 6 Ks. Changeup was working well. @NCLegends16u @NovatoHornets
