"Endemic crises demonstrate that years of popular uprisings have not compelled the regime to find solutions, but only allowed the systemic failures to pile up; consequently, the next wave of #IranProtests—inevitably larger and more radical—is no longer a matter of if, but when," writes @MasumehBolurchi. ncr-iran.org/en/news/econom…

Fifty-four years ago today, on May 25, 1972, the Shah’s criminal regime executed three founders of the PMOI/MEK—Mohammad Hanifnejad, Saeed Mohsen, and Ali Asghar Badizadegan—together with Central Committee members Abdol-Rassoul Meshkinfam and Mahmoud Asgarizadeh, all in their mid-thirties. Pictured here from right to left, they were silenced, but not defeated. More than half a century later, their ideals burn undiminished, and the legacy they forged through sacrifice continues to stir and inspire Iran’s younger generation until Iran is free.🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Today, the clerical regime took the life of another rebellious protester, Abbas Akbari Feyzabadi, a courageous son of Naein, executed on charges of "Moharebeh" (enmity against God) stemming from the January 2026 uprising. Salutations to the rebellious protesters who have shaken the pillars of the ruling religious fascism in Iran. The execution of Iran's brave youth only intensifies the public’s rage against this murderous regime. The Iranian people will neither forgive nor forget the crimes of these rulers and their henchmen. The day they face justice in a free Iran is near. The international community’s silence is a green light for these atrocities to continue. I urge the UN Security Council and its member states to unequivocally condemn these continuous executions and take decisive action to halt torture and death penalties in Iran. #StopExecutionsInIran

"Today, Western nations are reaping exactly what they sowed. The consequences of their appeasement have breached their own borders. European and #American citizens are routinely taken hostage to be used as diplomatic bargaining chips. Global economic arteries are continually choked by threats in the #StraitofHormuz," @HakamianMahmoud writes. ncr-iran.org/en/news/terror…

🚨 Iran: Former National Football Captain Parviz Ghalichkhani Dies at 81 Parviz Ghalichkhani, former captain of Iran’s national football team and a three-time Asian champion, died at age 81 in a Paris hospital after years battling Alzheimer’s disease. Widely regarded as one of Iran’s greatest footballers, he played for Daraei, Persepolis, Taj, and Pas. Beyond sports, Ghalichkhani opposed both the Shah’s dictatorship and the clerical regime, was imprisoned under the monarchy, and boycotted the 1978 World Cup in protest against the Pahlavi regime. In later years, he condemned the 1988 mass execution of political prisoners and defended executed Iranian athletes including Habib Khabiri and Hamid Attarati, remaining vocal in support of Iran’s freedom movement.

@VidalQuadras
