Playoff losses hurt a lot but this group of seniors is so dear to my heart. Being a young coach gave me the ability to play next to these guys as well as coach them in their final 2 years here at Lovett. Thankful for the opportunity I had and I am very excited to see them grow!

The Lions have brought home the cup! 🏆 Your Lovett Lions have been named the Georgia Athletic Directors Association, 2A Private Regions Bank Director's Cup winner. This award honors the top overall athletic programs in each GHSA classification, recognizing excellence, and superior performance across all sports throughout the school year. Lovett Athletic Director Roney Eford shared, “Winning the Regions Bank Directors Cup is a true reflection of the exceptional dedication of our coaches and the incredible efforts of our student-athletes, who have represented Lovett with grit, heart, sportsmanship, and winning at the highest level.” #GoLions

I am incredibly proud of this Band of Brothers. The commitment they put in since early July led us to a 9-3 season. We’ll be back on the riverbank in August and I’m excited for what is to come. The standard has been set higher now by this ‘24 team! Thank you class of 2025! 🦁💙
