Last weekend, I enjoyed connecting with residents during the New Edinburgh Community Alliance’s New Year’s brunch at the @NEFieldhouse.

New Year Brunch at the New Edinburgh Fieldhouse is on tomorrow (Saturday) morning from 10 to 12. Come for plentiful home made food, and the good company of neighbours. Although there is no fixed cost for this event, donations are gratefully accepted. Bring your skates and plates!

The two ice rinks at the New Edinburgh Park Fieldhouse are closed due to the warming weather. Please stay off the ice to minimize the time and effort it will take our volunteers to make it ready for skating again. Footprints (both animal and human) can damage the soft ice base.

Decorations are done. Food and drinks are in the fridge. Santa’s travel plans are scheduled. All we need is your good company! Warm up for the holiday season at the Fieldhouse tomorrow (Saturday) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, during the Holiday Lights Gathering.

Fall park cleanup this Friday from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Meet at the gazeebo, beside the splash pad by the Fieldhouse. Gloves and bags will be provided. High school students can accrue volunteer hours. Hope to see you there!

Fall Films at the New Edinburgh Fieldhouse on Saturday, October 15.  An indoor double feature will show “Encanto” at 6:00 pm, followed by a “Ghostbusters” at 8:00 pm. Popcorn is free. Drinks will be available. Viewers are invited to donate what they can to help cover event costs.
