The high-level ministerial interaction was part of the U.S. Nuclear Executive Mission to India, which brings together senior executives from leading American nuclear energy companies to engage with key stakeholders across government and industry. The mission comes at a pivotal moment for the U.S.-India civil nuclear partnership, following the landmark reforms enacted through the SHANTI Act, passed in December 2025, which have created vital new opportunities for commercial engagement to strengthen bilateral nuclear cooperation and support, investment, technology collaboration, and long-term energy security cooperation.
