We spent Wednesday-Friday at Spooky Nook, beginning with the #E75 ZGXL College Prospect Combine & the ZGXL Summer Stage. Here’s who caught our eye on Wednesday in part one: newenglandrecruitingreport.com/in-the-news/20…

Jordan London helped lead Team Ready to the 17u ZGXL championship with his shooting and playmaking. Lengthy guard that can knock it down off the catch at a good clip and defend the perimeter well.

Alston Taylor was the catalyst for @Metroball in securing the 16u ZGXL championship. Quick and crafty guard that can really get the offense going and has great vision on that end. Can also create shots for himself.

6’6” 2028 Tyler Schoenberg caught our eye in the EEP ZGXL 16u win in the semis. The junior forward served as a scoring hub for the team in the post, while spraying the ball out to shooters and keeping possessions alive with his rebounding ability.

Isaiah Avantola with the game winning three in Overtime to capture the 15u ZGXL championship for @central_flight. The 2029 has good size to rebound the ball and can shoot it well from beyond the arc. Brings a physical presence on the defensive end.

Another big time ZGXL performance just took place from Aaron Johnson Jr. The West Haven native had 25+ off a number of dunks, threes and drives to the rim. His Team Ready squad will play for the championship today.

Kwaseem Sherwood helps EEP advance to the 17u ZGXL championship against Team Ready at 3:30. The 2027 guard gets his team’s offense going with his quick first step and ability to change speeds at a high level. Can finish well around the rim.

2028 Jacob Hill was dominant in the post to help send @Metroball to the 16u ZGXL Championship. His physicality allows him to grab boards at a high level and he plays well off the pick and roll to create opportunities to score at the rim.

2029 Trenton Baker brings energy and aggression to both ends of the floor for @paflighthoops as he helped punch their ticket to the 15u ZGXL Championship. Plays the game with confidence when driving to the hoop and he defended the length of the floor throughout the whole game.

Roland Blood & Owen Walsh caught our eye in a @central_flight 15u ZGXL semifinal win. Blood set the table & showed off his multilevel shotmaking while Walsh’s size (6’4”) was important defensively, and he served as a nice connector on offense.

David Voutsas was big for Team Together’s 15u ZGXL squad in bracket play. The 2029 point guard showed off his ability to see the floor while dealing with double teams and make things happen in different ways. Can handle the ball and hit shots.

2027 Martin Boua brings size and athleticism to both ends of the floor in the frontcourt. At 6’6” he can pressure the rim in the paint while covering ground defensively and altering shots. Has improved year over year.

2029 guard Cameron Smith from Mahanoy Area HS hit big threes and clutch free throws down the stretch to help his PA Flight ZGXL 15u reach the semi finals tomorrow. @paflighthoops
