@CHartleySLT @BCUHELS That is a fine rock
Thank you for supporting #RockingAphasia with such creativity all month
English

Popped this #RockingAphasia one in @BCUHELS student and staff garden to be found by the curious. Tomorrow is the last day of #aphasiaawareness month. Lets keep pursuing #accessiblehealthcare

😍 You know how much @RCSLT loves doing - and combining - as much awareness-raising as possible.
🪨 So it's great to do a bit of #RockingAphasia as we head off to #Leeds for tonight's event.

🪨 A bad dose of food poisoning might have scuppered my #RockingAfasia contribution this year, but @RCSLT's @GivingVoiceUK is going on tour. 🚆 So we're #RockingAphasia outside The Greatest Station. #Aphasia #KingsCross #HaveRockWillTravel #Yorkshire #TheNorth

@CHartleySLT @UKGreenParty @LibDems @DervlaSLT @annaeslt Ooo good topic … there’s only one thing that generates more heated discussions @NETA_Aphasia than politics and that’s football! ⚽️
Hope u had a good one!
English

All ready for today's #aphasia conversation group: topic is politics ahead of the #generalelection.
Great to see @UKGreenParty and @LibDems have easy read versions of their manifestos. Where are the rest? #inclusiveparliament
Thanks @DervlaSLT @annaeslt for fantastic prep.

Having a lot of fun diciphering north eastern words in NETA conversations
Divvet, Canny, mortal, liggies, skitters, hoy,
Hinny, ho’way
Anyone else need a translator? 😂

Got caught placing my #Rockingaphasia rock today by a member of staff at the nursing home I visited today. We had a brilliant conversation about aphasia and raising awareness. They are now going to host a #Rockingaphasia therapy group themselves. #mysltday #aphasiaawarenessmonth

English

Thank you @PeterDJust for the #rockingaphasia rocks. Here's the first one painted up and outside a local church. @GivingVoiceUK @RockingAphasia

@LKantSLP @KathyCann1 @Aphasia_Inst Thank u Lee-Ann 😊
The people who come to NETA are such an inspiration. They want to say there is light after aphasia - focus on living - and the reach of aphasia shrinks. Thank u for sharing our post.
English

@NETA_Aphasia @KathyCann1 I find this post very inspiring! This is so important to show others what living with aphasia can look like. Thank you to the people in this post for sharing these real truths. Members in our @Aphasia_Inst feel the same and others are searching for the same.
English

I’ve got aphasia but aphasia has not got me!
Aphasia is part of the tapestry of our lives that has drawn us together.
It’s part of us but does not define us.
We’ve been celebrating life with/despite #aphasia
We are survivors, thrivers, inspirers!
Here are our stories 🧵⬇️

@SLTSocietyNCL will you join in @RockingAphasia too? 🙏
