45 years ago today I was at Somerton Park with my dad as Newport County played Carl Zeiss Jena from East Germany in the European Cup Winners Cup Quarter Final 2nd leg. County lost 1-0 but what a night that was and another lovely memory of being with my Dad! 🖤💛
