Just watching @GMB and @RachelRileyRR . The phrase "when will I ever use this?" being associated with just maths drives me mad. Every school subject has content you typically won't reuse in adult life, but why is it only maths people feel it's ok to say that about? #mathsisfun

In setting up a twitter account for the Liverpool MathsJam, the account was temporarily blocked due to "unusual activity". Bizarre, but OK. To unblock it I had to associate a phone number with the account. That was really annoying, but OK, I did that. Then ...
