The ICC was not lying. There were no "public warrants" issued. Because this one is a secret warrant. What a brilliant strategy to come out with a statement the weekend before a rumored Senate coup was to happen to coax the fugitive Bato out of hiding. Now he's trapped and he has nowhere to go. Smart move. Once Bato is arrested, and it's only a matter of time, the new Senate leadership will lose its majority. SP Sotto will be back. And the Sara impeachment trial will proceed forthwith. We hit two birds with one Bato.

Sara is already impeached by the House, but she needs to be convicted by the Senate (at least 2/3 vote) to be removed and be perpetually banned from holding any public office.
It’s still a numbers game, and looking at the Senate’s composition, no way in hell na ma-coconvict si Sara. So, good luck Pinas!
