North East beat Northwestern 67-52 in boys basketball. Carter Crozier and Willie Shunk each had 21 points for the Grapepickers, and Dillen Rodgers had 12.

North East beats General McLane 67-31 in boys basketball. Willie Shunk had 19 points, while Dillen Rodgers had 16 and Carter Crozier scored 14 for the Grapepickers.

Jalyssa Wicker had 14 points, while Mya Miller and Ashley Hartner each scored 10 points as North East beat Iroquois 47-27 in girls basketball.

North East beats Iroquois 53-46 in boys basketball. Willie Shunk had 27 points and Dillen Rodgers added 10.

Carter Crozier scored 26 points and Willie Shunk had 21 as North East beat Fort LeBoeuf 68-53 in boys basketball.

North East beat Farrell 72-35 in boys basketball. Willie Shunk had 25 points and Colin Cunningham had 21 for the Grapepickers.

North East boys basketball goes on the road to beat Meadville 63-36. Colin Cunningham led the Grapepickers with 18 points, while Willie Shunk had 14 and Carter Crozier scored 13.

D-10 3A football final: North East 35, Grove City 7 According to my records its the 3rd playoff win in NE history and first since 2009! NE snaps a 7-game losing streak in the playoffs and its their first win against GC in the playoffs after losing the first 3! What a win!

@ETNreisenweber If it can't be done correctly, might as well pull them out of a hat and random draw. I agree 100 percent Mercer has been much better in the playoffs. But I don't know why past performances with kids who are no longer in school trump regular season results.

I think some people forget that Mercer County has pounded Erie County in the D-10 football playoffs for the past 4 decades. It's not opinion, the scores bear it out. If Erie County teams want respect, especially in the playoffs, they have to start winning games; it's that simple.
