@NFFCTicket Doesn’t matter. Everyone knew the deal at the start. Italy thrashed home and away by Norway, got a second chance in the playoffs and couldn’t take that either.

Said on Swedish radio when Graham Potter was appointed that he was a really positive hire. Just took them to the #worldcup. Yes, it went wrong at Chelsea and West Ham, but he’s still a great coach, and his successful time in Sweden with Ostersunds built him a strong reputation.

@kevinhatchard Yeah they are the rules, I just think they are too forgiving. Much like when middle order international teams used to fiddle fifa rankings by not playing friendlies (old system), I think they’ll be countries looking to ensure they stay in Nations league C and B in future.

Sweden finished bottom of World Cup qualifying only managing 2 draws against 2nd bottom Slovenia. Italy finished second in their group on 18 points (albeit with an extra team in their group) but thanks to Nations league nonsense Sweden are going to the World Cup. 🤔
