DETROIT MERCY! Mark Montgomery has really defied the odds this year. Nobody thought much of this team and they’ll finished third in the Horizon — the hottest team in the league entering the conference tournament and now will battle Wright State for their first conference tournament bid since 2012. Some real hoopers on this squad. Orlando Lovejoy, Tyler Spratt, TJ Nadeau, even Lance Stone played great today. Tough to stop the bigs — Legend Geeter and London Maiden inside.

Detroit Mercy advances to the Horizon League championship game after defeating a tough Robert Morris team. Three Titans scored in double figures. Orlando Lovejoy led them with 20 points, and freshman Lance Stone had 16 points. He is a former Jay Bilas camper!
