Center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs are in agreement on a six-year, $115 million contract extension, sources tell ESPN. The deal starts in 2027 and does not include a club option, allowing Crow-Armstrong to hit free agency before his age-31 season.

The Ty Simpson propaganda is loud. But based on his size and skillset, there's little precedent of longterm success. h/t @FB_FilmAnalysis 🔗@phnx_cardinals: youtube.com/watch?v=octFxv…

Then there's QB. EVERY draft season QB gets overhyped. 4 out of the last 5 drafts, the UNDER total r1 QB's bet has hit despite having +odds in 3 out of those 4 drafts. Right now, DK thinks there is a 69% chance that TY Simpson, who is 34th on consensus boards, is picked in RD1

Drop your top 5 underrated WRs... GO‼️

#Bears draft superlatives 2026: • Dream pick: Peter Woods • Pray he falls: Akheem Mesidor, Dillon Thieneman • Nice pick: Zion Young, T.J. Parker • Great player, meh scheme fit: Kayden McDonald • Lower than consensus: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren • Please no: This year’s OT class

BREAKING: Center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs are finalizing a long-term contract extension, sources tell ESPN. Crow-Armstrong, coming off a 30-30 season and a Gold Glove, will get a big payday as the Cubs lock up a franchise-caliber talent.

From a scout in attendance: LSU’s Mansoor Delane just clocked back-to-back 4.38s in the 40. Absolutely flying.
