Another driver has been caught doing 80mph on a New Forest road today. Worringly, they also had a young child in the car! For the safety of yourselves, your passengers, animals and other road users please respect the 40mph limit and adjust your speed to the road conditions. #SRU

Unbelievably, one of our camera operators caught someone travelling at 83mph in a 40mph zone in the New Forest earlier today. 😨 As there was also a herd of cows around this was particularly dangerous. Heavy rain and animals on the road = slower, careful driving #SRU

THANK YOU to The Bell Inn for hosting our banner at the Brook. We hope that this will remind more people to drive with care across the whole of the Forest. The CDA have put out salt licks deeper in the Forest to try and reduce the animals that come to lick the salt on the roads.

Speeding vehicles were seen travelling at 60mph in 40mph zones in the New Forest yesterday. Unfortunately, a pony was killed. The Forest is not a race track, it is an area that needs careful driving to ensure the safety of all animals and persons that use the roads. #SRU
