Personal Update / Thoughts on a FT Web3 Career: 1) Today I caught up with a close friend of mine who I met when I was interning in Crypto back in 2017. Back then, he was one of my bosses and is still someone I look up to. He is now a partner at a crypto firm. We lost touch for a while and recently reconnected (he had no idea I was @nftboi_ or what I had been up to). I wanted to hear his opinion on my move to full-time Web3/Crypto because it was something I was considering back when we first met as well. I told him that I didn't want to capitulate back to a desk job, but that I was worried I wouldn't be able to break back into PE/VC if the worst case happened and this all went to 0. 2) I want to share the message because I think some of you might be in a similar boat to me. Maybe you left a job to go all-in (like me), or maybe you're considering taking the jump. My friend told me that I needed to stop hedging and that if I have conviction in myself, the industry, and the thesis, then I needed to burn those bridges and forge forward. I need to let go of what my parents think, what my friends may think, and what society may think - put my all into it. If it doesn't work out - people will understand a young professional taking a big swing in a growth industry that they believe in. Be realistic, make sure you can take care of yourself and anyone you have to (don't yolo your rent money on something), but don't plan for the worst. I have full conviction in my thesis around crypto and its use cases. I think we are past the tipping point, and that this future is inevitable, and I want to be a part of it. I deeply appreciate anyone who read this far, and I feel immensely grateful to be in the position to chase my dreams. Much Love 🥷❤️

tokenization potential value for @playtokendraft sitting at 21m! interesting way to evaluate your repo, socials and thesis i think we scored low on uniqueness cause we use a basic stack (NextJS/react frontend, node/ts backend, postgres db), but nothing wrong with keeping it simple
