Kaito 101 for birbs If you have no idea what you're doing on Kaito but you're a Birb, this one's for you! Focus is on the @moonbirds LB with some examples from other projects on Kaito. I will also talk about the Kaito and X Algo. (Part 7 is the most crucial for some! So please read the whole thing 🫶) Let's start with Yapping rewards. 1->Yapping rewards Projects on Kaito usually reward the top few hundred Yappers on their LB. ▶️Mitosis rewarded top 1k on the 6M LB. (Reward was linear) ▶️Union rewarded a few thousand users across 2 seasons. S0 and S1. S0 was for early yappers. More allocation and longer yapping timeframe. S1 had a lower allocation to the few thousand that appeared on the S1 LB. Union used a separate leaderboard that leveraged the Kaito Algo. ▶️ Lombard Finance used a much longer timeframe. 1 year of yapping campaign. The campaign started on dec 2024 and ends on dec 2025. Reward is in the $1m-5m. Uses the Kaito LB With Moonbirds, I think the team will just use the Kaito LB without creating a separate LB. There are reward details for yapping but it's not public yet with the Moonbirds campaign. This means you're still very early. So Keep on yapping. 2->Kaito Earn You can see a general eligibility criteria in the "Kaito Earn" section. The Yapping activity period and reward size appear there. So check that out. (Always go to X or Discord to get more detailed answers on Yapping) 3->Timeframe matters What Timeframe? Your position on the LB matters but based on the timeframe. There are different timeframes on Kaito leaderboards. 7D, 30D, 3M, 6M, 12M With Portal to Bitcoin, it's probably the 12M timeframe that matters most. With Mitosis, it was the 6M timeframe. With most projects, it's the 3 months. I would personally focus on keeping a top 500 spot on the 3 months timeframe with Moonbirds. So focus delivering on a daily basis for the next few weeks and be consistent! 4-> Consistent? Yes! Your posts and replies need to be consistent. If you post on a daily basis, keep it going. If you're posting using a certain style, don't change it abruptly. Like going from hardcore Moonbirds posting to suddenly posting about 10 different projects on Kaito and Wallchain. Avoid that. Also, don't post AI slop! 5-> AI slop? Correct! Like going to ChatGPT and typing "write a post about Spencer's career path and success in Tradfi." Copy paste this and post it on X. Yeah, don't do that. The Kaito Algo is smart. Use AI but just for basic thoughts. "When did Spencer take over Moonbirds?" 6->What about the X algo? -X algo is the base layer. (most important) -So focus on improving that as well. -Get a verified X account. -Keep followings count below 60% of followers count. (Even lower if you can) Unfollow dead accounts but do it slowly. 20-30 daily at most. -Do not delete a lot of posts. (avoid deleting) or follow the -1 +1 rule when deleting. If you need to delete 1, post 1 to balance it out. -Do not follow or interact with low quality accounts. (if someone follows 10k accounts and has 1k followers, try to minimize interaction with it) 7-> Yapping circle Yapping circle is super important. If you are replying under my posts, keep doing this to keep our yapping connection alive. Grow the amount of people you yapping connection with. Here's a simple rule to follow: - You post content and I reply to yours? Come to my profile and look for Moonbirds related posts and comment as well. Reciprocate yapping is so crucial! - If you reply to my post and I never say anything other than Gbirb and I barely visit your posts, Stop interacting with me. Find someone who does. - Grow the number of users you have a healthy relationship with. Reciprocal posting between you and them. 8- How to Earn Yaps? This is the most difficult part for most new users (and old ones!) DO NOT KEEP ON CHECKING YOUR KAITO PROFILE FOR YAPS! If you keep logging in to check if you've earned any yaps, you will get demotivated really quickly. I went over 2 months earning almost 0 yap but I kept yapping. Suddenly earned ~40 yaps in just 10 days. Be patient and don't get desperate. 9- What projects should I yap about as a new Yapper? If you're new to Yapping and you're looking to yap about more projects, do this. a) Yap about 2 to 3 projects at most! b) Improve your onchain metrics. Stake more $kaito and use the projects you're yapping about. Use their products! c) Look for projects that have a pre-TGE leaderboard but are not on the "Kaito earn" section yet. Means early d) Don't yap about a project that has a reward campaign that's been running for weeks and months. You won't be able to climb the LB. That's it for now!
