I am pleased to announce that @SUPRA_Labs 's social recovery scheme ANARKey got accepted into EuroS&P'26. It is one of the top-tier venues for security and crypto papers. The idea of social key recovery was proposed by @VitalikButerin, and we built ANARKey keeping that in mind. Here, wallet holders backup and recover their keys among their community without relying on external guardians/entities or storing any additional data. It works with both hot wallets and cold wallets that follow the standardized RFC6979 spec. The full version can be found here: eprint.iacr.org/2025/551 This is a joint work with @aniketpkate , @thehumzasaleem , @pratyaycrypto (Hashgraph), and Bhaskar Roberts (UC Berkley).

Distributed key generation protocols (DKGs) are crucial for blockchains! Their applications include on-chain (distributed) randomness, threshold signing blocks, stateless clients, MEV-protecting encryptions, and more. However, many in the industry consider DKG to be expensive as blockchains scale beyond 100 nodes. Recent R&D at @Supra_labs proves that DKGs can scale well to 100s of nodes. Check out eprint.iacr.org/2026/072 We carefully engineer DKGs to scale to 100s of nodes while maintaining a minimum on-chain footprint. Cherry on top, it can work with any publicly verifiable secret sharing (PVSS) of your choice.  More below!

We will service other chains with this protocol as well. Feel free to test it out: v0-tao-supra.vercel.app What’s happening under the hood is pretty neat: We are running a variation of our DORA protocol on calculated vectors to produce a midpoint value. @conordeegan Hash based signatures are cool but they are stateful and you need lattices for encryption anyways. For threshold signing (for Blockchains), lattice based signatures might be better off than hash based signatures since they avoid maintaining a shared state amongst themselves.
