Update: The bot hasn’t executed any trades today. I’m still waiting. In the meantime, I’m continuing to run backtests on all the flaws and weak signals I’ve identified. It might be my 25th one now. 😂 I’m looking for a clean run system. Why hasn’t the bot made any trades? It’s indicating no real volume, and sellers could potentially take control. It will trigger a sell if we break a little lower. Let’s see.

Backtesting is extremely important. I’ve run 3 backtests so far today covering the last 6 years. Each one takes about 2 hours because of the amount of data being processed. That’s normal when you’re running tick or high-resolution data with multiple indicators. What people don’t realize is most strategies look amazing in bull markets. That’s not skill, that’s market conditions. 2022 is the real test. BTC dropped over 60%, ETH over 65%. Liquidity dried up, volatility spiked, and most bots got destroyed. If your system survives 2022, now you have something real. I’m stress testing everything. Not just “did it win or lose,” but why trades failed. What did the bot do? Did it overtrade in chop? Did it enter during low volume? Were TP and SL placed correctly? Was it reacting to lagging indicators? That’s where the edge is built. Backtesting isn’t about making a strategy look perfect. It’s about exposing weaknesses. Slippage, fees, spread, overfitting, all of that matters. A strategy that shows 90% win rate in backtests but ignores fees and execution will fail live. Also, most people don’t run enough data. 6 years is solid because you get: bull cycle (2020–2021) bear market (2022) recovery and chop (2023–2024) different volatility regimes That’s how you know if a system adapts or breaks. Thank God for Claude Code because it makes this process easier, but you still need real trading experience to know what setups actually matter. This isn’t “build a bot and print money.” This is testing, refining, breaking it, and rebuilding it. We’ve got another 3–4 backtests to run. Each iteration gets sharper. That’s how you build something real.

I might sound selfish, but I’m being real. I don’t care about Ukraine. I don’t care about Iran. I don’t care about Israel. None of these countries care about me, my country or my life. I care about where I live, my family, my money, and my business. That’s what I wake up for every day. That’s what I’m building. Yeah, I feel bad for them, but I’m not letting anything out there change what I’ve got going on here. I work for mine. I can’t change their situation. I love where I live. This is my world. I stay in my lane, focused, and making the best out of my life. I’m not mother Teresa.

The bot is finally done ✅ Now it’s time to let it run and see what it can really do. I ran a backtest over the last 4 months and… yeah, it performed really well. But before anyone jumps in, I know! Past performance doesn’t mean future results. That said, this is the first time the bot has completed 102 scans with ZERO errors. It’s been running flawlessly for the last 2.5 hours and hasn’t taken a trade yet, which I actually like. Volume is thin and it’s staying disciplined. That’s exactly what I want. Still a work in progress, so no real money going in just yet, but this is a big step forward.
