Testing some new flavors for the upcoming drop. This one is our best flavor we have ever dropped. Very very stoked 😏

@ProzacPulse Decarb process releases co2 so it can cause pressure to build up in jars, but also any serious temperature change will cause glass to break, I usually use thick mason jars and this time I tried these mini jars that are thinner to do a smaller batch and that was my problem.

I do it low and slow, I basically start as low as I can and see how the rosin reacts, I’ve gotten it to work at a 135 before but usually you need a little more maybe 150, the lower the better. I just decarb for about 2 days and then let it cool before opening. And once it’s cool I want it to by runny, if it’s not I’ll throw it back in for another 10 hours maybe crank it up 5-10 degrees. I wouldn’t go above 190 but everyone has their preference. Rosin is more sensitive to temperature than pretty much anything else.

I just spent 2 days decarbing a good amount of rosin and right when it was about done the jars exploded 😭😭😭😭

@elkcreekgardens It was in a water bath so it’s super weird consistency now and yes it’s absolutely everywhere😂😂 even on the ceiling I’m sure I could salvage about 20% it for something but I definitely wouldn’t scrape it up for vapes, ick lol

@ElevatedExpdton Yes 100% been through that, you never know how it was stored before it gets to you so it’s not worth it. I use coco coir and I haven’t had a bug problem since, I do occasionally find these albino spiders in that room but they never care about the plants 😆

I always get the best ideas at 3am and then I’m up for 3 more hours planning or doing whatever it is 😅
