Tonight we held a moment of silence to remember Joe Fosina, a member of the Yankees family for over 40 years 💙
As the uniform reconditioner, Joe would tailor, fix, clean, and do whatever was needed when uniforms needed to be altered. A U.S. Army veteran, Joe was also a huge supporter of youth sports in his hometown of New Rochelle, where he also served as a City Council member and Civil Service Commissioner.
The Yankees organization mourns his loss and sends our condolences to the Fosina family.
Great season and playoff run with @acalanesBASE NCS Champions. I finished with 20IP 9hits 2bbs 21ks 2 ER in playoffs 4-0 record. This season I had 80ip 1.49 ERA .904 WHIP 60Ks. Throwing 5 pitches FB, SL, CH, SNK, CB. Playing with @ZootsBaseball this summer.
