𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐒 as of 16 May 2026, 10:30AM Based on NGCP’s 6AM data, the Luzon grid is operating under normal conditions. Luzon:   Capacity: 15,799MW Demand: 12,107MW   Visayas   Capacity: 2,768MW Demand: 2,339MW The declaration of full capacity by GNPD 1 (668MW), EERI 2 (422MW), and EERI 3 (420MW) increased Luzon’s available capacity by a total of 1,510MW. Combined with the typically lower system demand during weekends, the resulting surplus capacity has enabled power exports from the Luzon grid to the Visayas grid. The Visayas and Mindanao grids are also operating under normal conditions. Barring any unexpected increase in demand or additional unplanned outages of power facilities, the power situation for this weekend is expected to remain stable. #NGCPAdvisory #GridAlertPH
