The presence of Taskforce officers restores orderliness across our roads. Danfo drivers, often responsible for obstruction and traffic blockages, only adhere to traffic regulations when taskforce appears. See the before n after below 👍 @Mr_JAGs @aleeygiwa

There are individuals who are serial offenders. I think we are missing the main point here which is the dangers of driving on one-way. Lives have been lost and it could have been worse if not for the @Taskforce112

The recent arrest of 32 suspected bandits in Kwara State is not merely an operational success. It is a demonstration of what becomes possible when a Police Force is led with clarity, discipline, and strategic purpose. Under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, the Nigeria Police Force is operating with a level of focus and coordination that is already yielding measurable results. This operation in Kwara State was not accidental. It was the product of credible intelligence, careful planning, and the courageous execution of Police officers on the ground, all functioning within a leadership structure that demands nothing less than professionalism and precision. IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM has made his philosophy clear from the outset. Policing under his watch will not be defined by reaction alone. It will be defined by anticipation. By the gathering and application of intelligence that places the Force several steps ahead of criminal elements at all times. By the strategic deployment of resources to where the threat is greatest. And by decisive, lawful action that leaves no ambiguity about the consequences of choosing crime over peace. The Kwara operation reflects exactly that philosophy in practice. Since assuming office, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+),NPM has maintained a firm and deliberate grip on the operational direction of the Force. His leadership has reinvigorated command structures, sharpened intelligence frameworks, and reminded every officer under his authority that discipline and purpose are not optional, they are the foundation of effective policing. The results speak clearly. Where criminal elements once operated with a measure of boldness, they are now finding that the space to do so is rapidly and systematically closing. This is the Nigeria Police Force under new direction. Vigilant. Coordinated. Resolute. To the officers and men who executed this operation with courage and professionalism,’your conduct honours the uniform. Your commitment reflects the standard that IGP Olatunji Disu, psc(+), NPM has set and expects to be maintained across every command in the country. To Nigerians, this operation is one of many. The Inspector-General of Police has positioned this Force not simply to respond to insecurity, but to confront it, dismantle it, and ensure that those who threaten the lives and peace of communities find no refuge within the borders of this nation. The message from the Nigeria Police Force is firm and unambiguous: The law will find you. It is only a matter of time.

POLICE CRACK FOREST BANDIT NETWORK; ARREST 32 SUSPECTS, RECOVER 4 AK-47 RIFLES IN KWARA The Nigeria Police Force has recorded a major breakthrough in the fight against banditry with the arrest of thirty-two suspected bandits operating in forests in Kwara State. The arrests followed sustained intelligence-led operations by the Kwara State Police Command in collaboration with the Intelligence Response Team during coordinated raids on criminal hideouts across Kaiama, Patigi, Gbugbu, Tsaraji, Babanla and Awi communities. Investigations revealed that the suspects are members of different gangs involved in kidnapping, cattle rustling and other violent crimes, using forest corridors as operational bases. Among those arrested are two foreign nationals from neighbouring Niger Republic, believed to be collaborating with local criminal groups in cross-border banditry. During the operations, police operatives recovered four AK-47 rifles, thirty-eight rounds of live ammunition, five communication devices and a camouflage hydration backpack suspected to have been used to coordinate attacks and evade security patrols. Further investigations also led to the arrest of Umar Mohammed, a suspect from Jos, Plateau State, alleged to have supplied communication equipment to the bandits. Authorities have assured that all suspects will face thorough investigation and prosecution, while efforts continue to track down other members of the gangs still at large.
