Pick Your Experiment Choose a simple, safe project (volcano, static electricity, plants, density towers). Write a short goal. Adult supervision is a must! 2. Script It Plan a short demo (30 sec–3 min). Intro yourself, show the experiment, results, and what you learned. 3. Film It Use a phone/camera, stable setup, good light + sound. Add a title card: NextGen: [Name] — [Project] 4. Upload to YouTube Public or Unlisted. Title: NextGen: [Name] — [Project]. Description: short summary + materials + parent email + “Submitted to NextGen Innovators.” 5. Submit Online Paste your YouTube link at - nextgen-innovators.org/submit. We’re calling all young scientists aged 8–14 to bring their curiosity, creativity, and brilliance to the stage. 💡🔬 This is your moment to turn a simple idea into something world-changing! ⸻ 💡 How to Enter the Competition Step 1 – Create Your Experiment •Do a fun, safe science experiment at home (can be in any science field, but Earth Science projects earn bonus points 🌱🌊🌋). •Keep your budget under $50 — be resourceful and creative! •Make sure an adult is supervising. Step 2 – Record Your Video •Film a 3–5 minute video showing your process and results. •Speak clearly and explain your idea in your own words. Step 3 – Upload to YouTube •Post your video on YouTube (Public or Unlisted). •Copy your video link. Step 4 – Submit on Our Website •Between Sept 18 – Oct 17, 2025, go to nextgen-innovators.org. •Fill out the form, paste your YouTube link, and write a 100–200 word explanation of your project.
