I am tired of seeing games and social platforms implementing ID verification and Face Scanning with the pretence of "safety" and "security". That's bullshit.
In a better society that might be ideal, but the world is not ready for this now.
People are getting arrested for online speech.
Yes, i said "Online Speech", not "Hate Speech". There's a difference.
Governments around the world are arresting people because they are criticizing them. Just in 2023 the UK has arrested over 12.000 people for voicing their opinions online. Naturally the UK is far from being the only country doing it, it was just an example.
The ONLY thing protecting your right to free speech in the digital era is anonymity, once your ID is connected to the platforms where you voice your opinions your entire life can be evaluated in mere seconds by an AI and deemed troublesome if the government doesn't like what you think and say.
They don't want us to criticize and voice our opinions, then let's do exactly that.
Help me, share this petition with friends and family and i'll personally present it to who's in charge.
