@glazingblogger No one returns a call with an answer. And being in the industry we understand the delays, as I’m sure the house builders do also, but they still need doors fitting.

@NGRoofline have you be told when they will be arriving? Sorry to hear of those delays. Can't be easy managing a big site with delays from the start.

@glazingblogger The best decision I have made is to start saying no. Accept the fact that we won’t find any good quality fitters, keep it small and focus on giving the best service possible.

The industry finds itself in what is perhaps a unique and unprecedented situation, where demand is so high, many are not taking on new customers, choosing to focus their existing client base to ensure the best levels of servide and product.

@glazingblogger We have had to stop quotes all together. Currently have around 12 weeks booked in and only a 3 man team. Hoping to get some sort of a life back and enjoy some evenings rather than being out doing quotes after working all day.

The fitting lead times at our place have now reached 13 weeks. Demand shows no sign of letting up. There is a significant chance that should things remain as they are, we could be full for Christmas by some time in July.
