@JoeBaguley @BBC_TopGear But the whole point of EV surely is environmental? So any use, other than intelligent and respectful, minimum energy use travel maximising the efficiency value of completing a journey, is simply wasteful and hypocritical?

@NGS01 @BBC_TopGear Not sure of your point? As I said, I bought my EV because it’s fun to drive. It’s also fun to drive round a track. As it is quiet, it’s also great for track owners as they can hold more track days and make more money. ICE are wasting energy on track days too - more than EVs.

The UK has held its first ever EV-only track day. Tesla specialists Tevo Solutions ran an all-electric day at Llandow last week → topgear.com/car-news/motor…

@JoeBaguley @BBC_TopGear But you’re wasting energy and creating particulate pollution from brakes and tyres and the overall pollution advantage is zero due to battery and vehicle manufacture. And, if it’s just you in the car it’s efficiency is also zero! So why?
