A foreign national Wifi contractor was fatally electrocuted at Riba Cross near Burgersfort while allegedly attempting to fix a WiFi connection on an electric pole. It is believed the victim had no safety equipment, the company didn't provide and was using an aluminium ladder on live power infrastructure at the time of the incident.
