Reception had a wonderful time at Coombes farm last week - they saw plenty of lambs and fed the calves!

It was an exciting day yesterday - our orchard trees were planted! The children were so proud of their trees when they had finished planting them. They enthusiastically dug the holes, measured it to make sure the tree would fit, put in some root grow and mulched the planted tree.

Our Y3/4 girls’ football team battled valiantly at the Southern Area finals this afternoon. They dribbled past the opposition on numerous occasions chalking up 1 win and 3 draws to finish in 8th place overall. Well done to our newest football superstars!

Y3 & Y4 teams played out a fantastic match against their North Lancing rivals today. North Lancing edged the 1st quarter 1-0, with the following two ending in stalemates. Seaside showed resilience to win the final quarter 2-0 and win a close contest played with great spirit.

Reception had an exciting visit from Jaws n' Claws - they met lots of animals including a royal python and a bearded dragon!

Our Y4 Football team played fantastically at the Southern Finals today. They battled hard together to break down attacks and scored some wonderful team goals, only losing 1 match, drawing 2 and winning 2 to finish the tournament in 5th place! Well done Seaside! You were amazing.

Our girls’ football team were triumphant in their match against North Lancing this afternoon. They defended doggedly before passing and dribbling past the opposition’s defensive lines to run out 8-2 winners. A fantastic group of players. Unbeaten all season! Well done Seaside!

Our Y6 football team pulled off a defiant victory over North Lancing this afternoon. They held their heads and played positively after going 4-1 down to run out 6-5 winners with a goal from the last kick of the game. An awesome unbeaten team who we are all incredibly proud of.

World Book Day - Razorbill Class Rocking It!

During block week, Year 2 and Year 4 were visited by Ogo Chime who showed and discussed how music and Christianity link. The children asked lots of insightful questions and enjoyed watching his music videos.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year last week, Reception took part in a dragon parade around the school!

Our Y3/4 girls had a wonderful time at the Girls’ Football Day hosted by BHAFC Foundation at the American Express EPC2 in Lancing. They practised skills in the morning and played in mini-matches in the afternoon, performing amazingly with smiles on their faces at all times!

After a tough start, our Y6 netball team played amazingly, dominating their penultimate fixture, which ended goalless, and then winning their final game in style. They were resilient throughout and never letter their heads drop showing great Seaside spirit. 4th place! Well done.

Year 2 had a brrrrr-illiant time on their Polar Explorer Topic Day this half term. They designed their own ships; made a soundscape; scraped ships out of the pack ice; played abandon ship; went on a mile trek and created some art work!

Year 5 Cross Country Year 5 Boys and Girls made Seaside very proud today as they ran a tough race at Windlesham House. We didn’t place in the top three, but we were 1st for spirit and enthusiasm! Well done!

Our Y5&6 Cross Country teams took part in a gruelling race at North Lancing this afternoon. It was a challenging course but they worked as a team to finish. Seaside finished with 1 bronze, 3 silver and 1 gold medalists. Our Y5 team also finished 1st place overall!
