The REALLY interesting question is...what do you do when teams come calling about Erik Karlsson this Summer? He's irreplaceable but will also be 36 with 1 year left and probably wants to win a Cup (this is in a hypothetical situation where the Pens do not win the Cup this year)

Really interested to see how the Pens approach their D this offseason. Karlsson's been stellar but he's 35 w/ 1 year left. Wotherspoon's solid but won't get *better*. Letang's falloff well documented, Shea's struggled lately & is a 29 yr old UFA, rest you'd prefer on the 3rd pair
