#BonnevilleFire Update: @NHMU is open to visitors today, June 21. We are grateful to the fire crews who continue to work the Bonneville Fire to the north of the Museum. Some wildfire smoke remains in the area. We'll provide updates throughout the day as necessary.

Out-of-office replies received at @NHMU: "Fun fact. Some fossilized farting insects were found trapped in amber. Yup. Microbes inside their gut were still alive when the resin smothered the insect. Some of these insects have gas bubbles leaving their butts. Have a nice day."
