🔵Introducing TAS Connect - Launching Winter 2025🔵 We're excited to announce TAS Connect, our new digital referral system designed to make referring to TAS simpler, faster, and safer.

TAS continue to improve the equity of access of patients requiring this lifesaving treatment, by collaborating with commissioners and NHS trusts to set up more localized services, such as the new TAS Cambridge service.

Today is #WorldSickleCellDay - NHSBT plays a pivotal role in the treatment of sickle cell disease through collecting blood donations, and #apheresis. In 2024, TAS provided 2740 red cell exchanges, for 641 patients, an increase of 438% from 2017.
