The Nordonia HS PE elective-Basketball Referee class had a visit today from John Puscian, Director of the Nordonia Youth Basketball League. Many of these young referees are excited for the opportunity to referee NYB games this season. @PlayNYB @amiecormell

Kudos to Nordonia HS Phys. Ed. teacher Amie Cormell for working with the OHSAA and offering a basketball officiating class within her curriculum. Ohio certainly needs more referees - what a great way to increase the numbers.

@NHSPE elective called Basketball Referee class, taught by @amiecormell got a visit by Keith Walker, Suburban League Commissioner today. 16 students are about to become @OHSAASports Class 3 Basketball Officials through this awesome Nordonia PE elective! @RefReps

Nordonia HS PE/health department elective class called ‘Mindful Wellness and Yoga’ completed some mindful hiking today at the Ledges. The students are learning that we are surrounded by beautiful places to hike and ultimately improve physical and mental health!

NHS PE elective class, TeamMates, kept the party going with line dances after an amazing Homecoming pep rally!

Congrats to Vinnie Milianta, @NordoniaSchools Senior, for being the FIRST student who earned his OHSAA basketball referee certification by taking the new PE elective:Officiating class! Vinnie can now referee, middle school and ninth grade basketball games! @RefReps @amiecormell

Today, I had my last class with this group of seniors in my sixth period PE elective class called Team Sports. The level of competitiveness and energy these young men brought to class every day will be missed. 🏈 🏐 🏀 ⚾️ 🏒 ⚽️
