💡 Optimising theatre ventilation to cut emissions @nhsswft’s Theatres Team is improving efficiency by automating ventilation switch-off overnight when theatres aren’t in use, reducing energy waste and costs. 💚 Up to 45,513 kgCO2e saved annually—equal to 134,102 miles driven! 💚 £28,113 in energy savings. 🌱 Making Warwick Dermatology Centre more sustainable @nhsswft’s Dermatology Team introduced initiatives to cut energy, water, and gas use, while promoting sustainability awareness among staff. 💚 4,589 kgCO2e saved per year—equal to 13,520 miles driven. 💚 £4,822 saved annually. A fantastic model for sustainable healthcare buildings! #GreenTeamCompetition #SusQI

🌍 The combined #GreenTeamCompetition projects at @nhsswft, @GEHNHSnews, @nhsuhcw, and @CWPT_NHS are projected to save £104,299 and 58,890 kgCO2e annually—equivalent to: 🚗 173,517 miles driven (299 return trips between Coventry & Edinburgh) 🌳 The carbon absorbed by 2,356 mature trees A huge step towards sustainable healthcare! #SusQI #sustainablehealthcare
