Indeed, I tried to use @Tim_vd_Zee algorithm on my data (thickness images of several intrinsic foot muscles). It worked quite well indeed, however as I also had to analyse cross-sectional images, this was too complex. Good luck! Ask Tim, he is quite the expert!

Yesterday I presented an important part of my PhD research to fellow physiotherapists and podiatrists on our KU Leuven campus in Bruges. I spoke about the importance of intrinsic foot muscle function and how we can evaluate their function for optimal training and rehabilitation.
