Today, I continued my security awareness and monitoring engagements in the Rwenzori Region, meeting with @PoliceUg officers and their spouses in Fort Portal City. The session brought together police personnel, their families, and a diverse group of stakeholders, all united in promoting greater public awareness and strengthening efforts in crime detection and prevention. During my remarks, I highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between the police and the community as a cornerstone for effective security. I also encouraged spouses of police officers to pursue self-reliance by actively engaging in income-generating activities and development initiatives, as a way of enhancing family stability and overall well-being.
