Another wonderful read of Happy Dreamer by Peter Reynolds (who seems to be a popular children’s book author in my classroom!). The students really love the idea of dreams, and this book encourages them to chase them, which I think is so special! ✨@DrAnneBurke1

This week, our class was involved in a read aloud of the beautiful book, Sulwe written by Lupita Nyong. This book about multiculturalism included beautiful illustrations and it was a wonderful book for a read aloud for the grade 4’s. @DrAnneBurke1

Today we used our banana grams to spell out words and replace letters/ sounds to create new words! It was a great way to get students engaged in their spelling. @DrAnneBurke1
