First kidney cancer guideline published by NICE: nice.org.uk/guidance/ng256… It recommends offering biopsies to more people with suspected renal cell carcinoma, which could see biopsies rise from around 600 to 1,200 a year, reducing unnecessary surgeries for benign lesions.
